Runescape Scams
1.Armour trimming is a very high risk scam that can pay off if you get really
lucky.
2,Have your friend put on the regular armor and pretend you don’t know him.
3.Ask if he wants his armor trimmed, many people will say “Don’t Do It” or
“It’s a Scam”.
4.Pretend you are trading with your friend while he takes off the regular
armor.
5.Wait 30 seconds then say I’m done then he will put on the trimmed armor from
his inventory.
6.Tell your friend to act amazed, then others will be saying “Trim mine!” Then
once you get it… Log out.
(Note): You might want to put the trade screen on in case another player
believes you and trades. You’ll want to prove it first. this method is useless
but sometimes works.
1.This is barely even scamming so chances are the person you rip off might not
even report you. Either way it works pretty good. What you need is any item
that has little or medium value. The value of it can be 1 gp or 1 million gp;
it still works. Example: A yellow bead or a black dagger pollished botton. You
will also need a friend. Don’t pick a common item such as a rune scimitar or
strength ammy.
2.Stand in one part of a crowded bank and try to sell the item for more than
it is worth. For example, the yellow bead for 1k or the black dagger for 10k
or pollished bottons 100k ea.
3.Your friend should stand on the opposite side of the bank and act casual as
if he doesn’t notice you. He should be saying “Buying polished botton 200k ea”
or “Buying black dagger 25k” or “buying yellow bead 5k”.
4.A noob will see your friend buying something for an amount greater than what
you are selling it for and will think he can make an instant profit. The noob
will buy the bead from you for 1k or the dagger for 10k or a polished botton
for 100k, thinking he can sell it to your friend.
5.Both you and your friend should then teleport, run away, or act as if
nothing happened. Viola! You just sold an almost worthless item for more than
its worth.
6.What is so great about this method is that it isn’t even scamming and if you
are reported it would be almost impossible to prove that you did anything
wrong.
7.The only down-side to this method is that it doesn’t produce much profit,
but it comes in handy when you want to clean out your bank and get rid of some
noob items.
